Materials/Chemical/Environmental Engineering

The goal of this thesis is to perform an LCA study of activated carbon made of Leather waste.  By conducting this LCA study, the thesis aims to contribute valuable insights into the environmental performance of leather waste-based activated carbon, shedding light on its potential as an eco-friendly alternative in diverse applications, including water purification, and air filtration. Additionally, the research seeks to advance the broader understanding of sustainable waste utilization and circular economy principles in the context of activated carbon production.
