Today our PhD Students and Research fellow Alessandro Salvi, Marco Freschi, and Valeria Arosio successfully completed the European Polymer Federation Summer School about “Polymers and Circular Economy” together with almost other 300 people. The 2021 EPF Summer School has been devoted to the improvement of the capability of synthetic polymers to fit within the needs of circular technologies for more sustainable models of economy and society.
The main issues addressed by the School comprehend market situation and recycling targets within the EU, different technological options and scientific routes to re-use plastic wastes, comparison of fossil and bio-based feedstocks, evaluation of life cycle assessment.
