Launched in 2018 and ending in 2022, EU-funded RAISESEE project has been inserted among the Success Stories of RawMaterials, the innovation community of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).

Our PhD student Andrea Stefano Basso Peressut took part to the ANM21 - Advanced Nano Materials conference with two contributions summarizing the latest results of his research activity on graphene-oxide based membranes, investigated as potential proton conductors for PEM fuel cells.

Within the course "Innovative Materials for Architecture" of Prof. Giovanni Dotelli, Eng. Paolo Casadei and Eng. Gabriele Balconi from Sireg Geotech held the lecture "Impact of FRP rebars on the durability and sustainability of reinforced concrete structures: qualification and design according to European standards"

Three groups, eighteen students, successfully discussed their projects concluding the journey of the "Technological-design laboratory" bachelor's course.

Today our PhD Students and Research fellow Alessandro Salvi, Marco Freschi, and Valeria Arosio successfully completed the European Polymer Federation Summer School about “Polymers and Circular Economy” together with almost other 300 people. The 2021 EPF Summer School has been devoted to the improvement of the capability of synthetic polymers to fit within the needs of circular technologies for more sustainable models of economy and society.
