The aim of the project is to compare the mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties of post-consumer recycled composite materials (glass fiber reinforced PA66 and PC) and virgin materials.
A wide range of characterization techniques will be exploited, including tensile and flexural tests, Charpy impact test, Rockwell hardness, DSC, CTI, MFI.
The thesis project is in collaboration with the company ABB, and the experimental activities will be carried out in their laboratories located in Bergamo. An internship position in ABB is available for this project.
