Launched in 2018 and ending in 2022, EU-funded RAISESEE project has been inserted among the Success Stories of RawMaterials, the innovation community of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).

The RAISESEE (RAw MaterIals Students Internships in East South East Europe) consortium involved 11 partners from 6 countries and aimed at developing hands-on stages to train secondary school students in the typical activities carried out in research institutes and industries, fostering higher education in disciplines related to circular economony and the raw materials sector. Through the cooperation among research institutes, universities and industries, RAISESEE project allowed to spread knowledge about the importance of raw materials in the modern world and how to innovate in their recycling, substitution and processing, helping students toward an informed choice of their university studies and investing in a future generation of scientists and entrepeneurs.

Mat4En2 laboratory took part in the project for Politecnico di Milano, under the supervision of Prof. Cinzia Cristiani, RawMaterials ambassador since January 2018.
