Reduced graphene oxide (GO) membranes are used for water filtration (softening, desalination or heavy-metals/pollutants removal). The activity involves the slurries and membranes preparations, the analysis of rGO filtration properties, GO membrane base solutions and possible composite membranes (rGO - Polymers).
Principal characterization techniques: SEM - EDX, ATR - FTIR, Raman, XRD, wettability, solution conductivity, filtration efficiency, ICP - OES.
