After receiving his high school diploma at Liceo Scientifico in Gorizia, Gianmarco Gottardo moved to Milan to attend the Materials engineering and nanotechnologies master’s degree at Politecnico di Milano, following his interest in materials science and innovative technologies. He graduated in 2023 with a thesis on the environmental impact of fuel cell vehicles, which sparked his interest in Life Cycle Assessment and circular economy. Following his personal concern for the environment and this newfound interest, Gianmarco seized the opportunity to work as a Graduate Research Fellow working on the LCA of vehicles and electrical storage systems.
